RULES & REGULATIONS
*If ALCOHOL is to be distributed on consumed on the premises while occupied or used by the renter the renter agrees that said alcohol shall be distributed by an individual or entity licensed by the State of Nebraska and authorized to distribute alcoholic beverages. No alcohol shall be distributed to or consumed by minors. No alcoholic beverages are to be consumed outside the Loup City Community Center Building. A liquor license is to be notified at least 6 weeks in advance so that said license will be in effect for function date. Verification of catered license is to be in accordance with the laws of the State Liquor Control Commission.

The City of Loup City does
not carry insurance for the protection of the renting or using group.
2.
The City of Loup City
reserves the right to refuse rental or scheduling to any group, organization or
business which fails to provide necessary control or policing of
facilities. All youth groups must have
adult sponsors present.
3.
All rental fees are payable
in advance. One-half must be paid at the time of booking the event.
4.
Any damage to premises or
breakage of equipment will be deducted from the damage and custodial deposit. Renter will be liable for damages exceeding
damage deposit.
5.
The scheduling group shall
under no circumstances make any alterations or modifications to the rented
area. It is specifically understood
that a scheduling group shall not assign this lease, nor sub-let, nor permit
any other person or persons to occupy the space rented.
6.
Preference on scheduling
will be on a first come, first served basis.
7.
No event will be considered
until a nonrefundable deposit equal to 50% of the rental fee has been
received along with this form completed and returned to the City of Loup City.
8.
SETUP and CLEANUP are to be
within the time you have the building scheduled. Set-up will be allowed the
night before IF and ONLY if the room is not in use at that time. However to
guarantee early setup time or to start before 5:00 p.m. will require additional
rental charges. This early setup does not allow your function to begin early.
9.
GENERAL RULES: NO
SMOKING, NO DECORATIONS PASTED ON THE
WALLS ALSO NO NAILS, SCREWS,TACKS OR TAPE.
NO STREAMERS ARE TO BE HUNG FROM THE CEILING GRIDS. DECORATIONS CAN BE
PUT ON TABLES BUT NO STAPLES OR NAILS ARE TO BE USED.
10.
Those renting the center are
responsible for clean-up. You should
sweep after use and mop any spilled areas.
Alcoholic or soft drink spills need to be mopped and cleaned to remove
the residue. Tables must be cleaned.
11.
The renter is required to
provide trash bags and is responsible for removal of all trash from building to
the dumpster located on the south end of the building by the alley.
12.
No straw, hay or other
excessive dust-causing materials will be allowed in the building
13.
There will be no animals
allowed in the building.
14.
The renter is responsible
for making sure that the lights are out and the heat is turned down to 55º and
the air-conditioning set to 80º and all doors are locked.
15.
All functions shall cease by
1:00 a.m. NO ALCOHOL CAN BE SERVED AFTER MIDNIGHT.
