The Gasteyer Sanctuary is located one mile south of Loup City on Highway 10 adjacent to the river. Visitors can enter the Sanctuary and trek through the cut out trails and observe the various birds and plants. A welcome sign and parking area have recently been added on the west side of the highway and near the trail entrance.
