The Sherman County Community Foundation, Inc was formed in January 1990 as a community resource to enhance the quality of life in Sherman County and the surrounding area.Since that time, the Sherman County Community Foundation has helped countless organizations and individuals through the distributions of grants and scholarships.
The mission of the foundation is to encourage, receive and administer contributions and gifts for the benefit of the Sherman County area. Funding for the Sherman County Community Foundation, Inc. is received from individuals, businesses, corporations, and decedent’s estates. Contributions and memorials can be made in the form of cash, securities, real estate, life insurance and personal properties. In addition to a general fund, several funds have been created to serve the various desires of donors, including scholarship funds, community funds and school funds.
