The annual Christmas Cheer program will be held Saturday, December 17th from 5 Pm to 7:30 PM at the Loup City Community Center. The event will have a Scavenger Hunt/Poker Run, Chili & Chicken Noodle Soup, Coffee, Cider & Hot Chocolate, Santa Claus, Santa’s Workshop for the kids and room for vendors to display and sell their goods.
Businesses participating in the scavenger hunt include: King’s Variety, Betz’s Little Shoppe, Trotter’s Whoa and Go, Loup City Lanes, Goldenrod Gallery, Heritage Bank, Joe’s Market, Professional Eye Care, Citizen’s Bank, Loup City Diner, and Custom Floral.
Each business will have a sealed envelope containing a playing card that you may find starting on December 16th.
Many of these stores will be open until 7:00 PM on Saturday for shopping convenience. Enjoy doing your Christmas Shopping locally, rather than fighting the crowds, waiting in line, and spending gas money.
