The Nebraska Microenterprise Tax Credit program calls for the allocation $2 million each year in tax credits towards Nebraska based businesses and certain agricultural entities (see website for specific information) with five employees or less. Tax credits can be earned for new investments by the entity over a two year period, at a given rate of twenty cents of credit per dollar in investment and a maximum of up to $10,000 per individual.
